What is bakery software and what exactly does it do?
It is a system that connects orders, raw-material stock, production, sales and invoicing in one place, instead of Excel, paper notebooks and manual retyping between them. GemiSys is such a system, built directly for bakeries and pastry shops.
How does a vertical (industry-specific) system differ from a regular ERP?
A regular ERP is a universal tool for any business, and it takes a long time to adapt it to “understand” recipes, batches or HACCP. A vertical system like GemiSys has that built in from the start: it knows about recipes, raw-material expiry and production plans from day one.
How does the AI assistant Linda help in a bakery?
GemiSys Linda AI answers when you ask her: questions from your data about orders, production, stock and sales, for example when an ingredient will run out. She does nothing on her own. She does not order goods on her own without supervision. She always shows a recommendation and the decision stays with the owner.
Where will my data be and who has access to it?
Every customer has their own isolated database. No other GemiSys customer, not even a competitor, can access it. The data runs on our own physical servers in Rosina, Slovakia, mirrored and stored on several disks at once. Backups are kept in a different place than the servers, but still with us in Slovakia, so neither the data nor the backups leave Slovakia. Linda runs on Google Vertex AI in a European region. The data we send to her is anonymised first and only filled in again for display after she replies. Google does not use it to train AI models.
How much does bakery or pastry shop software cost?
GemiSys starts at €99 a month (the Starter package). Pro costs €249 and Complete €499 a month, and larger networks with several shops pay according to scope (Corporate). Prices are excluding VAT. You will find the exact prices on the Pricing page.
Can we move what we already have in Excel into GemiSys?
Yes. Customers can be imported in bulk from a CSV file and a list of raw materials from an XML or JSON file. We help you convert your Excel tables into the right format during set-up, and you then lay out the recipes on top of a stock that is already prepared. You do not have to start from zero.
Does GemiSys also work for several shops or locations?
Yes. The Corporate package connects several locations into one network through a shared dashboard: one bakery today, ten tomorrow, without extra infrastructure costs.
Is GemiSys Linda AI the same as other “Linda AI” products mentioned online?
No. GemiSys Linda AI is an AI assistant developed specifically for bakeries and pastry shops within the GemiSys system. Other products with a similar name (for example in healthcare) are not related to GemiSys.
